Paradou is a small, discreet village in the Alpilles, sitting at the foot of the limestone ridge that defines this corner of Provence. It has retained the scale and character of a working Provençal village, with stone houses, narrow lanes, and a pace of life that larger towns in the region have long since lost. The surrounding landscape, protected within the Parc Naturel Régional des Alpilles, is defined by olive groves, garrigue, and the pale rock formations that give the area its distinctive light.

Avignon, with its TGV station connecting to Paris Gare de Lyon in approximately two hours and forty minutes, is around forty kilometres north. Marseille Provence Airport is roughly sixty kilometres to the south, with a drive of under an hour, providing direct connections to major European cities.
