Sant Agustí is a quiet residential district on the western edge of Palma, occupying a stretch of low-rise coastline between the city centre and the more rural municipalities of Calvià. The area has long attracted Palma’s professional and diplomatic community, drawn by its proximity to the capital without the density of the old town. The architecture is predominantly mid-century apartment buildings and detached villas set on generous plots, with mature pines and a distinctly unhurried pace that sets it apart from central Palma.

Cala Major beach is a five-minute walk, and the small commercial strip along Carrer de Joan Miró provides cafés, a supermarket, and everyday services. The Joan Miró Foundation, housed in the artist’s former studio in Cala Major, is within walking distance. Portixol and the Passeig Marítim restaurants are a short drive east.

The Passeig Marítim connects Sant Agustí to central Palma in around ten minutes by car, and the EMT bus line 3 runs regularly along the coastal road into the city. Palma Airport is approximately six kilometres to the east, reachable in under fifteen minutes by car, with direct flights to most major European cities and year-round connections to Madrid and Barcelona via Iberia and Vueling.
