Avinguda de Gabriel Roca, known locally as the Paseo Marítimo, is Palma’s principal seafront boulevard, running along the western edge of the bay with direct views across the water toward the Cathedral of Santa Maria and Bellver Castle. The avenue has a distinctly cosmopolitan character, lined with contemporary residential buildings, superyacht berths at the Real Club Náutico, and some of the city’s most prominent hotel and dining addresses. It is one of the most recognisable and sought-after addresses in the Balearic Islands.
Day to day, residents have direct access to the waterfront promenade for cycling and walking. Restaurants including Adrián Quetglas and Tast Club are within a short drive, as is the old town with its covered market, Mercat de l’Olivar. The marina, Palma’s historic centre, and the commercial streets of Jaime III are all reachable within ten minutes.
Palma de Mallorca Airport is approximately eight kilometres from the Paseo Marítimo, a drive of around fifteen minutes, making it one of the most airport-proximate prime addresses in the Mediterranean. The airport operates year-round international routes to major European cities including London, Frankfurt, Paris, and Zurich. Ferry connections from the port of Palma link the island to Barcelona and Valencia, with crossings taking between four and eight hours depending on the service.
