Hidden among the intricate streets of the Gothic quarter of Palma, just a few steps from a venerable church, lies a building that has witnessed over six centuries of Mallorcan history. Its history began in 1411 when it was acquired by the Order of the Carthusians, one of the strictest and most scholarly monastic orders in Europe. To accommodate pilgrims and monks, they built their first hostel in Palma here, then called ”Posada de Cartoixa.” From the beginning, the building was a place of hospitality, reflection, and community. Today it has been transformed into a space of pure luxury, Creu 5 – The Heritage Residences, where five magnificent apartments of exclusive design are being constructed, with ample space and comfort. Historical elements such as a Gothic staircase, sandstone arches, tall windows, and artistically crafted wooden ceilings bring the classic charm of an old building to this otherwise modern property. Access to the building is through a noble lobby with an elevator and a grand staircase. A true dream property is this duplex of 283 m² on the ground floor, with a private garden, pool, and covered summer terrace. A few steps above the main floor are two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. On the main floor, there is a kitchen with an independent service room, a spacious living-dining room with an adjoining covered terrace, and a guest toilet, with direct access to the garden with a private pool. Descending a few steps from the living room are two more elegant bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Bars, restaurants, and boutiques of Paseo Mallorca and Avenida Jaime III, as well as the popular Santa Catalina neighborhood, are just a few steps from the building.
