Ollioules is a small Provençal town set in the hills above the Var coast, positioned between Toulon and Bandol in the arc of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. The town retains a genuinely local character, with a medieval old quarter, a 12th-century château, and the dramatic Gorges d’Ollioules cutting through limestone cliffs to the north. At elevation, properties command unobstructed views across the Toulon roadstead, one of the most significant natural harbours in the western Mediterranean.

Daily life centres on the weekly market in the old town and the shops along the main commercial streets. Sanary-sur-Mer, with its port-side restaurants and covered market, is a 15-minute drive. Bandol, known for its rosé wine appellation and beach restaurants, is roughly the same distance. Toulon city centre, with its opera house, museums, and main retail offer, is under 15 minutes by car.

Toulon-Hyères Airport (TLN) is approximately 30 kilometres east, around 30 minutes by car, serving domestic and select European routes. Toulon-La Seyne-sur-Mer TGV station connects to Marseille Saint-Charles in under 30 minutes and to Paris Gare de Lyon in approximately three hours. Marseille Provence Airport, with its broader international network, is around 70 kilometres west, reachable in under an hour via the A50 motorway.
