Terra DI Muro

Muro is a small agricultural municipality in the northeast of Mallorca, sitting between the Serra de Tramuntana foothills and the broad flatlands of the Pla. The town retains a distinctly local character, with a historic centre built around the church of Sant Joan Baptista and a weekly market that has served the surrounding farming community for generations. Its proximity to the Badia d’Alcúdia places it within easy reach of some of the island’s most protected and least commercialised coastline.

Playa de Muro, part of the protected S’Albufera natural park corridor, is roughly five minutes by car. The market town of Alcúdia is around ten minutes away, offering a walled old town, a weekly market, and a range of restaurants. Pollença, known for its art scene and Sunday market, is approximately twenty minutes north.

Palma de Mallorca Airport is approximately 55 kilometres from Muro, a drive of around 45 to 50 minutes via the Ma-13 motorway. Palma itself, the island’s commercial and cultural capital, is reachable in under an hour by car. The airport operates year-round international routes to major European cities, with significantly expanded connections from March through October.
