The Golden Mile is Marbella’s most established luxury corridor, stretching roughly five kilometres between the town centre and Puerto Banús along the N-340. It is where the Marbella Club and Puente Romano hotels set the tone for the area in the mid-twentieth century, and that standard of discretion and quality has held. The enclave is defined by mature pine and palm-lined estates, gated communities, and a low-density residential character that distinguishes it sharply from the more commercial stretches of the Costa del Sol.

Day-to-day life here centres on the Puente Romano resort complex, which houses Nobu, Serafina, and the Ten Spa, all accessible within minutes. The Marbella Club beach and its restaurant are a short walk along the seafront. Central Marbella, with its covered market on Calle Huerta Chica and the old town tapas circuit around Plaza de los Naranjos, is a ten-minute drive east.

Puerto Banús marina is roughly five minutes by car to the west, offering private berths and a concentration of retail and dining. Marbella town centre is approximately ten minutes east. Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport is the primary international gateway, located around 55 kilometres away and reachable in under an hour by road. The airport serves direct routes to most major European cities and several long-haul destinations, making year-round access straightforward for international residents.
