Las Chapas is one of the most established residential enclaves along Marbella’s eastern coastline, occupying a stretch of coast where the Sierra Blanca foothills meet the Mediterranean. The area is known for its lower density, generous plot sizes, and a quieter character compared to the more commercial centre of Marbella. Gated communities here sit directly behind some of the finest sandy beaches on the Costa del Sol, with mature pine trees providing a natural backdrop that distinguishes Las Chapas from more built-up parts of the coast.

The Elviria commercial centre is a five-minute drive and covers everyday needs including supermarkets, pharmacies, and a range of restaurants. Chiringuito Las Chapas and Trocadero Playa are well-regarded beachfront dining options within close reach. Puerto Banús and central Marbella are approximately 20 minutes by car.

Marbella’s AP-7 motorway access points connect Las Chapas efficiently to Málaga city in around 45 minutes under normal traffic conditions. Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport, the main international hub for the region, is approximately 55 kilometres away, typically a 40 to 50 minute drive. The airport operates direct routes to most major European cities and several long-haul destinations, making year-round access straightforward for international residents.
