Mandelieu-la-Napoule occupies a distinctive position on the western edge of the French Riviera, where the Siagne river meets the sea and the red porphyry cliffs of the Esterel massif begin their dramatic descent toward the coast. The town sits between Cannes to the east and the Esterel to the west, giving it a character that is quieter and more residential than its famous neighbor while remaining firmly within the Côte d’Azur’s orbit.
