Mahu Linnutee I Il Lusso Del Silenzio

Architecture in Dialogue with Nature
Some architecture is designed to make a statement. MAHU LINNUTEE is designed to belong.
Rooted in the architectural traditions of Estonia’s northern coast, the residence reinterprets familiar forms through a distinctly contemporary perspective. A sculptural thatched roof, dark timber, natural materials and expansive glazing create a quiet dialogue between the building and its surroundings.
There is nothing excessive in its expression. Every material, proportion and architectural detail serves a purpose, allowing the changing light, textures and landscape to become part of the experience of living here.
Generous windows dissolve the visual boundaries between indoors and outdoors, bringing daylight into the living spaces and keeping nature constantly present. This is architecture that does not compete with its setting. Its distinction lies in its restraint.

A Home Shaped Around Its Owner
With a planned living area of 240 square metres or more and a four-bedroom concept, MAHU LINNUTEE is designed for those who value both generous personal space and the freedom to live on their own terms.
The architectural concept provides a foundation for a thoughtfully composed residence, with spacious communal areas, private bedrooms and a natural connection to outdoor living.
Importantly, the final floor plan, interior architecture and material selections are developed in collaboration with the future owner, architect and interior architect. This allows the home to reflect individual preferences and ways of living while preserving the integrity of the original architectural vision.
Geothermal heating forms part of the home’s technical concept, combining contemporary comfort with an energy-conscious approach.

Privacy as a Way of Life
The generous grounds offer an exceptional degree of personal space, creating a natural separation between neighbouring residences while preserving the open character of the coastal landscape.
The property is conceived as a private retreat where indoor and outdoor living coexist effortlessly. Terraces, garden spaces and views of the surrounding nature contribute to a slower, more considered rhythm of life.
For those wishing to further personalise their surroundings, optional additions include a swimming pool, an attached or separate carport or garage, as well as a landscape design inspired by the naturalistic planting philosophy of Piet Oudolf, with its implementation available as an additional service.
These elements can be considered as part of the individual design process.

MAHU LINNUTEE is more than a house design. It is an invitation to experience a different relationship with space, architecture and nature.
A home created with intention, shaped around its future owner and rooted in one of Estonia’s most peaceful coastal environments.
The Luxury of Silence.
