Palacete De Villahermosa Alle Porte DI Madrid

In the heart of a historic landscape, very close to the emblematic Royal Palace of El Pardo, 6 km from the center of Madrid, stands the majestic Palacete de Villahermosa. This architectural jewel was built in the 19th century by Doña María del Carmen de Aragón-Azlor e Idiáquez, the 15th Duchess of Villahermosa. Together with her husband, Doña María del Carmen was a great patron of the arts and a fervent lover of culture. Her passion for art and literature was reflected in every corner of this impressive building. The duchess and her husband not only dedicated themselves to embellishing their residence with works of art and refined architectural details, but also left a significant cultural legacy.

The Palacete de Villahermosa is not only a testimony to the cultural wealth of its owners, but also an example of the architectural splendor of its time. Its facade and neoclassical style are reminiscent of the Villahermosa Palace in Madrid, the main residence of the dukes and now home to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. In its 880m2, the mansion has two large halls, a library, offices, eight bedrooms, six bathrooms and a chapel, with a romantic garden of almost 1000m2 that gives it a character of luxury and sophistication.
