La Baule is a chic seaside resort where a certain art of living is cultivated, authentic and highly prized.
Bordered by the marinas of Le Pouliguen and Pornichet, it already welcomed famous vistors such as Balzac and Flaubert in the 19th century, who discovered the famous benefits of sea baths.
As early as the 1930s, the establishment of a luxury 5 star Palaces and casinos meant that the whole of Paris was in a hurry, and the resort became a popular destination for the jet-set, where you could meet Maurice chevalier, Josephine Baker, Sacha Guitry, Charlie Chaplin, and Tino Rossi.
