Bah176 Eccezionale Proprietà Architettonica Fronte Mare A Serra Grande

Located on Praia do Pompilho in Serra Grande, on the southern Bahia coast, this remarkable property was conceived as a true immersion in nature. Set between a deserted beach, Atlantic rainforest and the ocean, it occupies a remarkably preserved environment less than an hour from Ilhéus Airport.

Set on approximately 20,000 sqm of land, only a small portion of which has been developed, the property blends discreetly into the existing topography and vegetation. A large part of the estate is preserved as Atlantic rainforest, reinforcing the sense of privacy and complete connection with the landscape.

The architecture is defined by a spectacular central bamboo pavilion topped with an expansive piassava roof. Entirely open to the outdoors, this monumental living space extends onto a large wooden deck and a swimming pool overlooking the ocean. Bamboo, reclaimed wood, natural fibres and contemporary materials come together in a design that feels organic, refined and deeply rooted in its surroundings.

The property comprises five independent suites, each conceived as a private retreat. Connected to the main pavilion by covered bamboo walkways, they offer excellent privacy while maintaining a strong architectural coherence. The suites feature air conditioning, king-size beds and individually curated interiors.

The interiors celebrate natural materials, Brazilian craftsmanship and references to Bahian culture. Ceramics, vintage objects, textiles, dark woods and carefully selected decorative pieces create a warm, elegant and authentic atmosphere.

Outside, the sea-view swimming pool blends naturally into the deck and surrounding vegetation. A lookout area with loungers and an outdoor shower provides a privileged setting for sunrise, moonlight and stargazing, while direct access to Praia do Pompilho enhances the property’s exclusive character.

A separate pavilion can accommodate yoga sessions, massages, wellness treatments or intimate private events. A fully equipped kitchen, wine cellar, ice machine, generator, Wi-Fi and additional comfort amenities complete the infrastructure.

The property can also support a full-service hospitality operation, with the possibility of concierge, chef, housekeeping, bartender, garden and pool staff, as well as 24-hour security.

Located near Serra Grande and Serra do Conduru State Park, the estate is ideally positioned for nature-based experiences, wild beaches, waterfalls, hiking trails and outdoor activities.

A rare architectural property on the Bahia coast, ideal as an exceptional private residence, holiday home or high-end hospitality project, combining Brazilian design, preserved nature and direct access to the ocean.
