Although private and peaceful, the property remains within easy reach of Ios Town and the beach at Mylopotas, balancing seclusion with immediate access to the island’s daily life.

Approached by a gently curving stone drive, the residence reveals itself gradually through retaining walls, planted terraces, and broad paved outdoor spaces that frame the surrounding scenery. The architecture draws from traditional Cycladic forms while introducing a more contemporary restraint, combining textured local stone with clean white interiors, pale timber details, and wide openings oriented toward the sea.

The upper floor contains the main living spaces, where the sitting room, dining area, and kitchen connect seamlessly to expansive outdoor terraces overlooking the horizon. Morning light enters softly through the eastern side of the house, while the western terraces become the focal point by late afternoon as the sun lowers over the bay.

The bedrooms follow the same quiet architectural language, with integrated wardrobes, soft neutral tones, and carefully framed views across the island and sea. The lower level functions almost as an independent guest residence, incorporating a second kitchen, additional sitting area, and private bedroom accommodation suited for visitors or extended stays. The layout creates natural separation between social and private areas while maintaining continuity throughout the home.

Outdoor living forms an essential part of the property. Covered dining areas, shaded verandas, and broad terraces are positioned to take advantage of the island’s changing light and prevailing breezes. The outdoor kitchen and long dining table sit beneath a timber pergola overlooking the valley and sea beyond, creating a setting designed equally for slow mornings and evenings outdoors.
