Sant Rafel de sa Creu sits at the geographic heart of Ibiza, on the elevated plateau between Sant Antoni de Portmany and Eivissa town. The village has a quiet, unhurried character defined by its whitewashed 18th-century church, a handful of long-established restaurants, and the surrounding pine-covered countryside. Its central position means the island’s main destinations are equidistant in every direction, while the immediate surroundings retain a distinctly rural, unbuilt quality rare for Ibiza.
The village itself has Cas Pagès and El Ayoun for dining, both well-regarded locally. Sant Antoni, roughly 8 kilometres west, covers supermarkets, banks, and the ferry terminal. Eivissa town, with its marina, Dalt Vila, and the main commercial centre, is around 10 kilometres east. Cala Gració and Cala Salada beaches are a short drive toward the coast.
Ibiza Airport is approximately 12 kilometres from Sant Rafel, reachable in under 20 minutes by car, a significant practical advantage over properties on the island’s northern or southern extremities. The airport operates direct routes to most major European cities, with frequent connections to Barcelona, Madrid, London, and Paris. Sant Antoni’s ferry terminal provides regular services to the mainland and to Formentera throughout the year.
