Location
Set in absolute tranquility, surrounded by pine forests and countryside, the property lies just moments from Cala Mastella and a short drive to San Carlos. Local beaches, restaurants, and the relaxed spirit of Ibiza’s northeast are all within easy reach.
Cala Mastella is a small, sheltered cove on the northeast coast of Ibiza, within the municipality of Santa Eularia des Riu. The area is defined by pine-covered hillsides, unpaved tracks, and a coastline that has remained largely undeveloped compared to the island’s busier western and southern shores. The cove itself is one of the few genuinely quiet corners of Ibiza, known locally for its clear water and the long-standing beach restaurant El Bigotes, which has operated here for decades.
El Bigotes at the cove serves grilled fish and bullit de peix by reservation only, drawing a loyal following. The village of San Carlos, roughly five minutes by car, has a weekly artisan market, a pharmacy, and the historic bar Anita’s. Santa Eularia des Riu, the nearest town with full services, is approximately fifteen minutes away.
Ibiza Airport is located on the southwest of the island, approximately 35 to 40 minutes by car from Cala Mastella depending on traffic. The port of Ibiza Town, which handles ferry connections to mainland Spain and the other Balearic Islands, is around 30 minutes by car. Santa Eularia des Riu has its own smaller port with seasonal ferry links to Formentera. There is no rail infrastructure on the island; private car or taxi are the primary means of transport.
