Residenza Unifamiliare A Guilford

Imagine mornings and evenings on Guilford’s East River. This 2,238 sq ft Antique Cape sits on more than 300 feet of river frontage with the water right in your backyard. Launch a kayak, canoe, or boat from your own dock and head out to Long Island Sound. This home began as a barn on Podunk Road in North Guilford in 1781 and was moved to East River Road in the 1930s. In 1979, local builder James E. Goodridge rebuilt it into a winterized, year-round residence of 7+ rooms full of architectural character. The owner has made recent renovations making this home remarkable. Today it is a diamond in the rough, ready for a new owner to update and modernize to their own taste. A detached garage stands to the left of the house. Its second level adds two rooms, a full bath and studio which make for the perfect in-law or rental opportunity overlooking the river. The location is convenient to Route 1 and I-95, and the home also has public water and natural gas.
