Mimet is a hilltop village in the Bouches-du-Rhône, perched at around 500 metres above sea level on the southern edge of the Sainte-Baume massif. Aubagne, closer at around 15 kilometres south, handles everyday retail and services.

Marseille-Provence Airport is approximately 35 kilometres from Mimet, reachable in under 40 minutes by car, with direct flights to Paris, London, Brussels, and major European hubs. Marseille Saint-Charles station, around 30 kilometres away, connects to Paris Gare de Lyon in approximately three hours by TGV. Aix-en-Provence TGV station, roughly 25 kilometres north, offers additional high-speed rail options toward Lyon, Paris, and beyond.
