Mont Boron is the most coveted residential quarter in Nice, a wooded hillside rising between the port and the Cap de Nice that has long attracted a discreet, international ownership. The old port of Nice, with its fish market, brasseries, and the restaurant scene around Place Garibaldi, is a short walk downhill. Nice’s TGV station links to Paris in under six hours. Monaco is a thirty-minute drive east via the Basse Corniche, and the Italian border at Menton is under an hour.
