Èze occupies one of the most dramatic positions on the French Riviera, a medieval perched village rising to 427 metres above the Mediterranean between Nice and Monaco. The village proper, classified among France’s most beautiful villages, is a dense labyrinth of stone lanes, vaulted passages, and terraced gardens that have remained largely unchanged for centuries. The views across the Côte d’Azur from this elevation are among the most recognised on the European coastline.

Daily life divides between the village itself, with its artisan boutiques, the Jardin Exotique, and the Château Eza restaurant, and the lower Bord de Mer district with direct beach access. Monaco is 8 kilometres east. Nice’s Promenade des Anglais, Old Town markets, and airport are roughly 12 kilometres west.

Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately 20 minutes by car, with direct flights to most European capitals and long-haul connections via Paris. The A8 autoroute provides fast access along the coast. Èze-sur-Mer station, at the base of the village, sits on the main coastal rail line connecting Nice (15 minutes) and Monaco (8 minutes), with TGV services available from Nice to Paris in under six hours.
