Villa Estepona

Estepona occupies a distinct position on the Costa del Sol, sitting between Marbella to the east and Gibraltar to the southwest. Unlike much of the coast, Estepona has retained a recognisable Andalusian character, with a well-preserved old town of whitewashed streets, flower-lined plazas, and a working fishing port. The town has invested heavily in its public spaces over the past decade, earning a reputation as one of the most liveable and well-managed municipalities on the western Costa del Sol.

The old town centres on Plaza de las Flores and Calle Real, with restaurants including El Gaviero and La Escollera for fresh seafood. The Paseo Maritimo runs along 21 kilometres of beach. Golf courses including Valle Romano and Estepona Golf are within a short drive, as is the Sierra Bermeja natural park.

Malaga Airport is approximately 85 kilometres east, around 55 minutes by car via the AP-7 toll motorway. Gibraltar Airport lies roughly 50 kilometres to the southwest, offering an alternative for European routes. Marbella is 30 kilometres east, reachable in under 30 minutes. Regular bus services connect Estepona to Marbella, Malaga, and Algeciras. There is no direct rail connection, making a car the practical choice for daily use.
