È composta da tre ”parallelepipedi” interconnessi, sfalsati in modo da sfruttare al meglio il terreno in pendenza e creare aperture terrazzate per mettere in risalto il suo principale punto di forza: la vista. Una vista mozzafiato sulle acque scintillanti del Lago di Ginevra.
Un’importante opera di ristrutturazione è stata realizzata per dare nuova vita a questo piccolo gioiello (classificato) dell’architettura modernista degli anni Trenta.
La piscina è stata disposta sulla grande terrazza sporgente, impreziosita da una parete di brise-soleil che crea un vero e proprio solarium. Una scala monumentale conduce al giardino sottostante, ornato da una fontana e da una scultura (un ”leone alato”); essa consente di accedere alla terrazza e alle aree di ricevimento senza dover entrare nella casa. I colori originali delle facciate (intonacate con un intonaco ”rustico”) sono stati riscoperti grazie alla ricerca cromatica. La scelta dei colori è stata affidata al pittore (svizzero) Georges Aubert, il cui stretto legame con Le Corbusier lo ha portato a interessarsi alla policromia architettonica.

Major renovation work was carried out to breathe new life into this listed gem of 1930s modernist architecture.
The swimming pool has been installed on the large overhanging terrace, which is embellished with a ”brise-soleil” wall to create a veritable solarium. A monumental staircase descends to the sunken garden, adorned with a fountain and a sculpture (a ”winged lion”); it allows access to the terrace and reception areas without having to go inside the house. The original shades of the facades (rendered
were rediscovered through chromatic research. The choice of colors was entrusted to (Swiss) painter Georges Aubert, whose close ties with Le Corbusier led him to take an interest in architectural polychromy.
