Brockenhurst (Hampshire)

A landmark period residence of singular distinction, offered to the market for the first time in almost half a century.
Rarely does a property of such genuine rarity and historic resonance present itself, and rarer still does one do so after nearly fifty years in single ownership. Mill House is an iconic landmark on the eastern fringe of Brockenhurst village a Grade II listed former mill dating from around 1830, set within approximately 1.6 acres of beautifully maintained grounds through which the Lymington River meandering with quiet distinction.
Formed as part of the Brockenhurst Park Estate during the early Morant era, the property served latterly as a sawmill and originally as a flour mill, lending it a depth of provenance and a sense of belonging to the landscape that simply cannot be replicated. Today it stands as an exceptional home, full of period character, generously proportioned, and possessed of an unhurried, timeless quality that is increasingly difficult to find.
