Casa Padronale Del XVIII Secolo A Vegadeo

This 18th-century stately manor house is located in Vegadeo, Asturias, catalogued as Architectural Heritage of the Principality. With 4,000 m² built on 1.3 hectares of land, it faithfully represents Asturian rustic nobility architecture.

The complex is arranged in a U-shape around a large interior courtyard. The main manor house has three floors plus a walkable attic, preserving unique elements such as polychrome frescoes, wide-plank chestnut floors and wooden beams in perfect condition.

The nearly 60 m² lareira with benches stands out, a symbol of the family’s economic power. The kitchen preserves elements such as the traditional Bilbao stove and original stone water basin. The noble floor includes 5 rooms, library, sewing rooms and looms, all with period furniture.

The private chapel, dated 1784 and dedicated to San Benito and San Nicolás, includes a gilded carved wooden altarpiece and wrought iron grillwork.
