Antibes occupies a singular position on the French Riviera, sitting between Cannes and Nice on a peninsula that has attracted artists, writers, and serious wealth for well over a century. The old town, enclosed by Vauban-designed ramparts, gives the city a historical density rare on this coastline. Cap d’Antibes, the pine-covered headland extending south from the town, is among the most coveted addresses in Europe, defined by large private estates, discreet security, and direct access to some of the Mediterranean’s clearest water.

Daily life on Cap d’Antibes centres on Plage de la Garoupe and the market at Cours Masséna in the old town, a short drive away. Restaurant Le Bacon on the Cap is the reference address for Mediterranean fish. Juan-les-Pins, immediately adjacent, provides year-round cafés, supermarkets, and the train station serving the whole coast.

Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately 20 kilometres from Cap d’Antibes, reachable in 20 to 30 minutes by car. Antibes train station, served by TER regional services and some Intercités trains, connects to Nice in around 25 minutes and to Cannes in under 15 minutes. Monaco is roughly 45 minutes by car. The A8 motorway provides direct access to Italy and to the broader French autoroute network.
