Aljezur grew up in the shadow of its castle, and the narrow lanes beneath its walls still keep the layout and atmosphere of times gone by. Here, just a short walk from the castle, stands this house with four independent apartments, equally suited to investment or to your own use.
The four apartments
Set on a 207 m2 plot, the house offers 245 m2 of gross private area. It is divided into two 2-bedroom apartments, one 1-bedroom apartment and a studio, each with its own entrance.
Apartment 1 · 2 bedrooms (80.95 m2): the living and dining room connects to a semi-open kitchen through a breakfast counter. Two bedrooms lie along the hallway, one with a large built-in wooden wardrobe, and the shower room is at the end. High wooden ceilings give it a warm, comfortable feel. Apartment 2 · 2 bedrooms (74.94 m2): set below the first, it has a living room with open-plan kitchen and two bedrooms. Their attractive stone walls give it a rustic, authentic character. There is also a shower room. The hallway has a large built-in wardrobe that houses the utility area. Apartment 3 · 1 bedroom (47.85 m2): on the lower level, beneath the 2-bedroom apartment and the studio, it is reached by stairs leading to its entrance terrace. It has a living room with open-plan kitchen, a bedroom and a shower room. Apartment 4 · Studio (41.63 m2): at the top of the street, next to the 2-bedroom apartment, this bright studio has a wooden ceiling, exposed beams and superb views over the Aljezur valley. The shower room and a door to the first terrace are by the entrance. The main space combines living area, sleeping area and open-plan kitchen. The kitchen opens onto a second terrace, ideal for enjoying the light and the views.
All apartments have traditional Santa Catarina terracotta floors. Everything is fully electric, from the kitchen to the heating and cooling, and hot water comes from electric storage heaters. The courtyard and terraces are made for outdoor meals and long evenings.
