Unique property with gardens, patios, and a winery, ideal for residential or tourist use. In a charming municipality of La Rioja surrounded by vineyards and nestled on the Camino de Santiago, stands this emblematic Casa Palacio, a gem of great historical and architectural value. Built in the 19th century, it was the birthplace of General Domingo Dulce y Garay, who was granted the title of Marquis of Castellflorit by Queen Isabel II after his victory in the Battle of Castelflorite (1840). Its noble coat of arms, classified as a Cultural Asset of Interest, presides over the main facade of the garden. The palace, with 1,407 m² built and 500 m² of gardens and patios, dominates the urban center with facades on four streets. It consists of two attached bodies in an “L” shape, made of solid masonry and topped with carved wooden eaves. Although the ground floor and several areas have been renovated, it still requires completion of its rehabilitation. The ground floor features more than 16 rooms, original pebble floors, underground vaults, and access to gardens decorated with fountains and wrought iron furniture. The first floor is accessed by an elegant staircase, housing the noble rooms of the palace, among which stands out a large living room with balconies overlooking three streets and a central skylight in the middle of the staircase. The attic has five spacious areas with multiple renovation possibilities. The original ironwork and gates, the artisanal details, and the majesty of its structure make this property a unique piece of La Rioja’s heritage, ideal for residential, tourist, or institutional use. This fantastic property is located in a small town in the Iregua River valley, just 17 kilometers from Logroño.
