Villaggio DI 17 Edifici In Pietra A A Pontenova

In A Pontenova (Lugo), within the Río Eo, Oscos y Tierras de Burón Biosphere Reserve declared by UNESCO, lies this village set on 4 hectares (9.88 acres) of flat land, with a private, tree-lined paved access road from the main road.

The complex brings together seventeen stone buildings with slate roofs, most of them in very good condition despite their age. One of the houses is already fully renovated and equipped, ready to move into, with a kitchen-lounge-diner, one bedroom and a complete bathroom.

Close by, a second house has its renovation practically finished, needing only fixtures and furnishings. It is laid out as an open-plan lounge-kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with lower-floor rooms set up for an industrial kitchen or storage.

Two buildings at the entrance to the complex were renovated years ago and now call for an update, although they retain a solid structure. The rest of the complex, including hórreos, alpendres and hay barns, keeps its original appearance in good condition.

Established fruit trees grow among the buildings, giving the complex its own character.

The nearest town, with all services, is 7 km away, as is the Tirolina das Minas active tourism complex. Ribadeo is 27 km away and the city of Lugo just over an hour.
