Classified in 2003 as a Property of Public Interest, Quinta do Campo is the only preserved example in Portugal of medieval Cistercian Farm architecture, and it is also the best-preserved in the Iberian Peninsula. Its historical and architectural importance reflects centuries of evolution, with buildings dating from periods after the 12th century, highlighted by the main house, built in the 19th century.

Over the centuries, the property has undergone careful interventions that have preserved its historic character, maintaining the authenticity of its architectural elements while adapting it to new functions. In the 1990s, the former agricultural spaces were redeveloped and transformed into independent units separate from the main house. It is currently operated as a Hospitality Tourism venue and a space for private and corporate events.
