Situated on the outskirts of Uzès, in the Gard region, this vineyard enjoys a prime location between Nîmes, the Cévennes and the Pont du Gard. Nestled in the heart of the Duché d’Uzès AOP appellation, it benefits from a sought-after natural setting and significant potential for tourism.

DESCRIPTION

This 11-hectare wine estate is on a human scale, combining the production of premium wines, a high quality of life and wine tourism.

Run by the current owners since 2016, the estate has developed a meticulous, artisanal approach where each plot is tended individually to reveal the identity of the terroirs and produce elegant, authentic wines.

The property, surrounded by vineyards and Mediterranean scrubland, exudes a particularly unspoilt and intimate atmosphere. The main farmhouse, built from local stone with high-end finishes, blends harmoniously into its surroundings.

The estate produces several vintages under the AOP Duché d’Uzès and IGP Cévennes appellations.

BUILDINGS

The property comprises a main farmhouse of approximately 280 m² with spacious rooms,

6 bedrooms in total, including 3 guest rooms, a large living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 offices, a veranda, 5 shower rooms or bathrooms in total, a heated swimming pool, and terraces with views over the landscaped gardens.

A wine-making cellar with a full range of wine-making equipment, enabling high-quality production to begin immediately.

LAND AND VINEYARDS

The estate covers approximately 11 hectares, 5.5 of which are vineyards classified under the Duché d’Uzès AOP and Cévennes IGP.

The mosaic of plots, fragmented into several small blocks surrounded by natural vegetation, promotes significant biodiversity and excellent control over ripening.

The clay-limestone soils, combined with white marl and yellow sandstone, impart aromatic freshness, structure and minerality to the wines.

The high-quality grape varieties include: Syrah, Merlot, Grenache, Viognier, Chardonnay, Roussanne, Vermentino and Carignan.

The vines are cultivated without synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilisers or weedkillers, following an organic approach consistent with the estate’s identity.

OPERATIONS

The estate operates on a mixed model combining wine production, direct sales, tastings, tourist accommodation and events.

The estate markets several premium wines and has significant potential for commercial and wine tourism development.

The estate welcomes French and international visitors all year round for tours and tastings by appointment in French, English and Spanish.
