Renamor stands as a rare French Provincial
estate built in 1928, when a sophisticated New York couple, Renee and George Amory, commissioned a European-inspired retreat whose art
collection would later count the Metropolitan Museum of Art among its admirers. The house was built for original owners George Amory, a major
stockholder in the container shipping business Sea-Land Freight Company, and his wife Marion Renee, who inspired the Renamor name.
Spanning over 150 private acres within the gated, guarded confines of historic Tuxedo Park, the estate adjoins nearly two thousand acres of
protected parkland and old bridle trails, delivering rare privacy just fifty minutes from Manhattan. Three residences totaling over 22,000 square
