Château À Vendre À Stresa, Avec Vue Sur Le Lac

Castello Pellegrini is a magnificent historic residence situated in a commanding position, offering an unparalleled view of Lake Maggiore. Considered one of the most beautiful properties on our lake, the villa was purchased by the famous designer Gianfranco Ferré to bring to life the project for the revival of what was originally ”Castello Pellegrini.” His intention was to transform it into a first-class Relais au Lac, where guests could immerse themselves in wellness and exclusive services. Also known as ”Il Castellotto” for its majestic proportions, the building stands out for its visual impact and architectural elegance. The villa, built in the early decades of the twentieth century, features an imposing facade characterized by corner towers, biforas, and battlements, elements that recall medieval architecture. The interior of the villa is equally captivating, with original details including a fine Carrara marble staircase and historic frescoes, highlighting an eclectic taste typical of the era. The indoor spaces, spread over two main levels and a basement, are designed to offer a luxurious and comfortable living experience, with large lounges overlooking the lake and charming bedrooms. The 12,000-square-meter park surrounding the villa, rich with centuries-old vegetation, panoramic terraces, and rockwork grottos, adds further prestige to the property, creating an oasis of tranquility and natural beauty. The estate also includes a rustic chalet in Alpine style and a cottage used as a guesthouse. The entire complex has been declared a ”cultural asset” by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, attesting to its historical and architectural value. Castello Pellegrini represents a rare opportunity to acquire a prestigious property, immersed in a unique natural setting and with a fascinating history—ideal for those wishing to live or invest in an exclusive corner of Lake Maggiore.
