Cala Vinyes is a small, well-established residential enclave on the southwest coast of Mallorca, within the municipality of Calvia. It sits between Magaluf and Camp de Mar, but occupies a distinctly quieter register than either. The area is characterised by low-density villa development, pine-covered hillsides, and direct access to a sheltered sandy cove. Its southwest-facing orientation delivers reliable sun exposure and sea views across to the Mallorcan coastline.

The cove beach at Cala Vinyes is a short walk from most addresses in the enclave. Portals Nous, with its marina, restaurants, and supermarkets, is around ten minutes by car. Palma Nova and Magaluf offer broader retail and dining options within five minutes. The Marineland Mallorca attraction and several golf courses, including Golf de Poniente, are within a short drive.

Palma city centre is approximately 25 kilometres east, reachable in around 25 to 30 minutes by car via the Ma-1 motorway. Palma de Mallorca Airport is roughly 20 kilometres away, a journey of under 25 minutes. The airport operates year-round international routes to major European cities, with significantly expanded connections from April through October. There is no direct rail or metro service to Cala Vinyes; private car or taxi is the standard mode of transport.
