Sa Ràpita is a small, low-density coastal settlement on the southern coast of Mallorca, sitting between the municipality of Campos and the protected wetlands of the Es Trenc-Salobrar de Campos natural park. The area is defined by flat agricultural land, dry-stone walls, and a coastline that has remained largely undeveloped due to strict environmental protections. It carries a quiet, unhurried character that distinguishes it sharply from the busier resort towns further east and west.

The beach at Es Trenc, one of the longest and most protected stretches of sand on the island, is approximately five minutes by car. The town of Campos, with its weekly market, supermarkets, and everyday services, is around ten minutes away. Colònia de Sant Jordi, with its marina, restaurants, and ferry connections to Cabrera island, is roughly fifteen minutes by car.

Palma de Mallorca is approximately 45 minutes by car via the Ma-19 and Ma-6014 roads, giving straightforward access to the island’s full range of services, international schools, and cultural institutions. Palma Airport, one of the busiest in Spain with direct connections to most major European cities and year-round flights to key hubs, is around 40 minutes from Sa Ràpita, making this southern location genuinely practical for frequent travellers.
