Sotogrande is one of the most established private residential enclaves on the Iberian Peninsula, occupying a stretch of the Costa del Sol’s western edge in the municipality of San Roque. Daily life in Sotogrande centres on the marina at Puerto Sotogrande, which has a concentration of restaurants and cafés along its quayside. The Real Club de Golf Sotogrande and Valderrama, ranked among Europe’s top courses, are both within a short drive. La Cañada shopping centre in Marbella and the town of San Roque provide broader retail and services.

Gibraltar International Airport is approximately 20 kilometres away, offering direct connections to London, Manchester, and other European cities. Málaga Airport, with its wider international network, is roughly 100 kilometres to the northeast, around 75 minutes by car. The AP-7 motorway provides direct access along the coast in both directions. Algeciras, the main ferry hub for crossings to Morocco and Ceuta, is under 15 kilometres away.
