Sotogrande Alto is the elevated residential sector of Sotogrande, one of the most established private residential estates in Europe. Developed from the 1960s onward across the municipality of San Roque in southern Cádiz province, it occupies a hillside position above the coast, with clear sightlines toward the Mediterranean, the Strait of Gibraltar, and the Rock itself. The area is defined by low-density villa plots, mature cork oak and pine, and a consistent architectural standard that has been carefully maintained across decades.

La Reserva Club, directly adjacent, provides golf, a beach club with a lagoon pool, padel, and a clubhouse restaurant. The port of Sotogrande, roughly ten minutes by car, offers marina dining at venues including El Copo and La Taberna del Puerto. Marbella is approximately 40 minutes north, and the town of San Roque provides everyday services.

Gibraltar International Airport is approximately 20 minutes by car, offering direct connections to London, Manchester, and other UK destinations. Málaga Airport, with its full international network, is around 75 minutes away. The AP-7 motorway runs along the coast and connects Sotogrande directly to both Marbella to the north and Algeciras to the south, making regional travel straightforward. Seville is reachable in under two hours via the A-381.
