HISTORY:
The Art Nouveau-style palace was built in 1911 by Dr. Luca Antonelli,
a resident of Rome and native of Sassoferrato , as a vacation residence. In the construction are used the best materials available at the time, in the subsequent renovations we have tried, as far as possible , to safeguard and recover these values.
The original floors in ”Cotto Fiorentino”
- The internal staircase, a real rarity, there we can find the origin of the name
of our town ”SASSOFERRATO”

- Ceilings all original from the 1900s
- Frescoes on the ceiling of the rooms on the 1st floor (red-green and yellow)
- Entrance doors and interior doors original to the 1900s
- Ceilings on the 2nd and top floor recovered the original and beautiful wooden beams and joists, as well as completion tiles
In 1951 2/3 of the property was purchased by the Castellucci Family. Dr. Albertino Castellucci was a distinguished Sassoferratese character, Mayor for 20 years and highly esteemed first Deputy and then Senator of the Italian Republic.

In 1980 a first renovation was carried out, mainly structural , in order to improve the seismic class of the building.
Rinaldo Cataluffi purchased in 2005 from the Castellucci heirs 2/3 of the property
subsequently purchased 100% from the heirs of the Antonelli Family.
The 1900’s HISTORICAL HOUSE, is about 300 m from the historic center of Sassoferrato, listening also to the advice of the sons Luca and Marco, it is decided
to transform the resident dwelling into a medium/high level and multifunctional accommodation facility:
- Apartments from 60 to 200 square meters (4 to 12 beds each) , fully furnished
- Suites unique in their spaces , from 30 to 45 sq m, from 120 to 180 cu.m.
- Large Breakfast Room - Large Meeting Room

Complete renovation began in 2011 and finished in 2016. Since 2012, it has been designated as a prestigious ”Tourist Resort”, combining comfort and elegance in every aspect. Altogether it develops 900 sqm , divided as follows:
- 700 sqm in 5/7 apartments and/or [hidden information] suites
- 200 sqm of common areas (reception, game room, meeting/breakfast room, reading/TV room)
It has, in addition, a garden of about 100 sq.m. , a sun terrace of about 300 sq.m. including a functional swimming pool equipped with whirlpool and
heating.
