On a hill in the picturesque San Polo dei Cavalieri, a few kilometers from Rome, a splendid 10th-century castle is for sale, a true monument of history and architecture.

After the plague epidemic of 1656, the castle passed to the Borghese family and subsequently became part of the Papal State during the unification of Italy.
