Sainte Maxime La Nartelle. Au Pied De La Plage, Villa Contemporaine

Sainte-Maxime occupies a privileged position on the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, facing its more famous neighbor across the water. The town has long attracted a discerning residential clientele who value the same coastline and light as Saint-Tropez but prefer a quieter, more functional base. The seafront promenade, the old port, and the weekly market on Place Victor Hugo give the town a genuine year-round character that purely seasonal resorts lack.

The town center offers direct beach access along the Plage du Centre and the Plage de la Nartelle to the east. Restaurants including Le Dauphin and La Maison Bleue line the port. The covered market operates daily in summer. Saint-Tropez is a 20-minute ferry crossing from the port.

Sainte-Maxime is served by the RN98 coastal road connecting to Fréjus and the A8 autoroute in approximately 30 minutes, placing Nice and Marseille within two hours by car. The nearest train station is at Saint-Raphaël, roughly 25 kilometers west, with TGV connections to Paris in under five hours. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately 90 kilometers east, around 75 minutes by car outside peak summer traffic.
