Au Centre De Saint Tropez

Saint-Tropez occupies a singular position on the French Riviera, a small peninsula town that has maintained its identity as both a working fishing village and one of the most recognisable addresses in the world. The old town, known as the corsair city, retains its Provençal character through ochre facades, narrow lanes, and the bell tower of the Église de Saint-Tropez. The port and Place des Lices remain the social and geographic anchors of daily life here.

Place des Lices hosts a market on Tuesday and Saturday mornings. Key restaurants include Sénéquier on the port, Club 55 and Nikki Beach on Pampelonne, and Vague d’Or at the Résidence de la Pinède. The Musée de l’Annonciade holds a significant Post-Impressionist collection. Pampelonne beach is approximately four kilometres from the village centre.

Saint-Tropez has no train station. The nearest rail connection is at Saint-Raphaël, roughly 35 kilometres away, with TGV services to Paris in approximately three hours. Les Bateaux de Saint-Raphaël operates a seasonal ferry service directly to the port. Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately 100 kilometres by road, typically one and a half to two hours depending on summer traffic. Toulon-Hyères Airport is closer at around 60 kilometres.
