Un Lieu Qui Donne Envie De Séjourner : Maison De Caractère à S'arracó

S’Arracó is a small inland village in the municipality of Andratx, in the southwest corner of Mallorca, sitting within the Serra de Tramuntana foothills. It retains a genuinely local character that has largely resisted the tourist development that has transformed much of the Andratx coastline. Stone houses, a central square, and a parish church define the village core. The surrounding landscape is agricultural, with almond and olive groves framing the approaches to the village from every direction.

The village has a handful of cafés and a small weekly market covering daily provisions. Sant Elm, the nearest beach, is approximately four kilometres away by car. Puerto de Andratx, one of Mallorca’s most prestigious marina towns with restaurants including Layn and Miramar, is around eight kilometres away. Andratx town, with its fuller range of services and a weekly market, is roughly five kilometres distant.

Palma de Mallorca is approximately 35 kilometres from S’Arracó, a drive of around 40 minutes via the Ma-1 motorway. Palma Airport, which operates direct routes to most major European cities and connects to Madrid and Barcelona year-round, is roughly 45 minutes by car. There is no rail connection in this part of the island, so a car is essential for daily life. The nearest ferry terminal for mainland Spain connections is the Port of Palma.
