Stone’s work has spent three decades expanding the language of desert shelter. His earlier projects, including Acido Dorado and Rosa Muerta, received the 2013 AIA Top Honor Award, have been exhibited by the Smithsonian, and have drawn the attention of Vogue Italia, Saint Laurent, and Beyoncé.
