Pollença sits at the northern tip of Mallorca, framed by the Serra de Tramuntana mountains and the calm waters of the Bay of Pollença. There is no rail connection to the north of the island, so a car is essential. Ferry services from Palma connect to Barcelona, Valencia, and Ibiza for those preferring sea travel.
