Birkenhof combines two historic three-sided farmsteads from around 1880 into an exceptional estate in the Uckermark region. Between 2016 and 2026, the buildings were carefully renovated under the guidance of a Berlin architect. Exposed fieldstone masonry, modern glass elements, and natural materials blend historic charm with contemporary living comfort.

The estate offers nearly 600 m² of developed building space, along with additional barns and utility buildings totaling around 1,200 m² of floor area, providing diverse expansion and usage potential.

Three independent houses define the courtyard:
- The farmhouse with a fireplace and bright attic
- The stable building featuring a loft-like space of almost 100 m² with ceilings over five meters high
- The charming washhouse with clay plaster and light wooden finishes

The approximately 39,515 m² property combines a park-like garden with mature trees, an orchard meadow, a kitchen garden, and the namesake birch grove. A garden sauna with panoramic windows and a small dacha complete the ensemble.

Birkenhof is already successfully operated as a holiday farm. The three furnished houses can accommodate up to 20 guests. The spacious loft area is suitable for seminars, workshops, and yoga classes. Both large barns have solar panels installed across their entire south-facing roofs. With a total photovoltaic capacity of 80 kWp, battery storage, and a heat pump, the estate offers excellent conditions for largely independent living. Whether as a private retreat, multi-generational residence, holiday farm, or for individual living and usage concepts—there is ample space for your own ideas.

Highlights at a glance:
- Two historic three-sided farmsteads, renovated, approx. 39,515 m² plot
- Nearly 600 m² developed area, three houses
- Additional utility buildings with approx. 1,200 m² floor area
- Holiday farm for up to 20 guests, furnished handover
- Garden sauna, heat pump, solar systems, and electric car charging

Birkenhof is located in Petershagen, a small district of the municipality of Casekow in the heart of the Uckermark. About 130 residents shape this tranquil village, surrounded by vast fields, gentle hills, and an apparently endless sky. The sunny region in northeastern Brandenburg is known for its pristine landscape and is a popular excursion and vacation destination, especially for guests from Berlin.

Nature begins right at the doorstep. In spring, storks return; in autumn, thousands of cranes fly over the fields. With some luck, traces of beavers can be spotted near the nearby Landgraben. Walks through the Piepergrund, mushroom picking in the Gartzer Bürgerheide, or a swim in the idyllic forest lake near Damitzow offer variety throughout the year. The Lower Oder Valley National Park and the Oder landscape are also just a few kilometers away.

Cultural excursions complement the natural experience: Schloss Penkun, about five kilometers away, offers a museum and a waterside restaurant, while Schwedt entices with diverse leisure and cultural activities as well as a water park.

Daily necessities are also covered. In Casekow, about three kilometers away, there is a butcher and a village shop; further shopping options are available in Penkun and Gartz. Schwedt, as the district town, also offers a comprehensive range of doctors, schools, and shops.

Despite its quiet, nature-close location, Birkenhof is well connected. Petershagen (Uckermark) train station is just a five-minute walk away. After the planned track expansion is completed, the rail connection is expected to improve further: Berlin will likely be reachable in about an hour. By car, the capital can be reached in about 80 minutes via the A11. The Polish city of Szczecin is also conveniently accessible.

Thus, the location combines the peace and openness of the Uckermark with good accessibility to the capital—ideal for those who want to live close to nature or create a special retreat for guests.
