Foners is a well-established residential neighborhood in the eastern part of Palma de Mallorca, sitting between the city’s historic centre and the more modern districts that extend toward the coast. It has the character of a working Palma neighborhood, with low-rise apartment buildings, local commerce, and a predominantly local population. Its position gives residents genuine proximity to the old city without the noise and tourist density of the centre itself.

The Mercat de l’Olivar, Palma’s principal covered market, is a short drive or bus ride away. The Passeig del Born and the dining and retail streets of the old town are within easy reach. Platja de Can Pere Antoni, one of the closest urban beaches to central Palma, is accessible in under ten minutes by car.

Foners is well served by Palma’s EMT bus network, connecting the neighborhood to the city centre, the port, and the wider metropolitan area. Palma’s Estació Intermodal provides rail connections to Inca and Manacor. Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) is approximately 11 kilometres from the neighborhood, reachable in around 15 to 20 minutes by car, with direct flights to most major European cities year-round.
