Rustic estate located 5 km from the town of Olvera (Cádiz), accessible from National Road A-384.

The property is mainly dedicated to dry farming and mostly covered with low scrubland. The terrain is gently rolling, with an average elevation around 600 meters above sea level.

The land slopes downward from south to north, with small hills in the area called Cerro de las Carastas, the highest point being a hill at 688 meters.

The estate is divided in two by the A-384 road, with most of the land on the northern side. This road borders the property for 2,067 meters.

A tunnel crosses the northern third of the estate from southwest to northeast, following the old railway line intended to connect Jerez with Almargen, which never operated. It is now a greenway for hiking, visible only at the estate’s ends.

There is a road on the west side running north to south, reaching a quarry in the Rancho de Recacha area. This road connects with the Los Carbones cattle track coming from the west and continues east to the main building. Another road runs along the eastern side north to south, ending at the eastern tunnel entrance of the greenway. A separate path provides access from the A-384 road to the main building.

In the southern third of the estate, south of the A-384, two roads appear: one divides the land northwest to southeast (the Alcalá to Pruna road), and another divides it southwest to northeast.

The entire property is registered as two separate fincas.

Note: The deeds only list the buildings as property names, without specifying existing structures or their sizes. The names used are ”Cortijo conocido con el nombre de Breña” and ”Un cortijo nombrado de Recacha” to identify the fincas.

BUILDINGS
- Cortijo Principal de las Breñas: Several buildings and sheds totaling approximately 840 m².

- Ruins north of Cortijo Las Breñas: A series of ruins with some standing walls but no roofs, located south of a rock north of Cortijo Las Breñas. These ruins appear to be from an ancient fortress or castle.

- Cortijo de Recacha: The building giving its name to its registered finca, formerly part of the known Vallehermoso Castle. Access is via the road leading to the Los Carbones cattle track, which connects to Cortijo Las Breñas. It is an ”L” shaped building with a constructed area of 175 m².

CROPS
Most of the estate is pasture and scrubland. Arable land for dry farming slightly exceeds 20% of the total area. There is just over one hectare of olive groves, with 167 olive trees scattered mainly in the southern part of the estate.
