OPEN HOUSE this Saturday 09/12 from 12-2pm || There’s a version of Florida people chase for years and never quite find. OPEN HOUSE this Saturday 09/12 from 12-2pm || There’s a version of Florida people chase for years and never quite find. It looks like this: a wall of open water out your back door, 112 feet of it, dolphins passing through some evenings, with nothing between you and the sunset but the tide. THIS is that version.
The dock does the heavy lifting here. Covered boat slip, a chain swing hanging off the edge for evenings when you’re not in a hurry to go anywhere, and it was re-decked in 2025, so what looks good also holds up.
Then there’s the part that’s hard to find anywhere else: two massive covered balconies, stacked across two full levels, both with an unbroken water view. That’s not a porch, that’s an outdoor living room times two, rain or shine, with the bay doing all the decorating. There’s a hot tub too, for the nights the bay air gets a little cool and you’re not quite ready to head inside.
The house sits high up on pylons, which means when everyone else is nervously watching the weather app during storm season, you’re not. The property flooded during both Ivan and Sally, and stayed dry inside both times, so that’s not a guess, that’s a track record. Hurricane rated tempered glass, exterior cameras, and motion detection cover the rest. There’s also a 1,000 lb. rated lift running to all three levels, doing double duty as a utility hauler and a disability lift, so this isn’t a house you age out of or have to explain to family who can’t do stairs. Built in 2002 and clearly cared for since. Roof was replaced in 2021, the carport soffit and subfloor got upgraded in 2025, the back staircase has been rebuilt, and the foundation’s been reinforced twice to keep everything level. None of that is glamorous, but it’s the kind of stuff that saves you money and headaches down the road. A portion of the lot sits under a conservation easement, which keeps a natural, wooded buffer along part of the property, good for privacy and good for the shoreline.
No HOA here, nobody telling you what color to paint your dock or when you can have people over. Short-term rentals are allowed too, so if you’re not using it every week, someone else can be astounded at the view. Quiet street, end of the road, tucked into the trees, but still only 15 minutes to the beach or I-10, and about 40 minutes to Fort Walton or Pensacola.
Real water, real sunsets, and the kind of evenings people move to Florida for in the first place. Call or text the listing agent today to schedule a tour.
