Domaine Du Redon

Mougins occupies a hilltop position in the Alpes-Maritimes, roughly ten kilometres north of Cannes, and has long attracted an international residential community drawn by its combination of seclusion and proximity to the Côte d’Azur. The medieval village at its core, with its narrow stone lanes and ramparts, has a well-documented association with Pablo Picasso, who lived here for the last twelve years of his life. The surrounding commune is characterised by large private estates set among pine and olive groves, giving the area a distinctly private, low-density character.

Daily life in Mougins centres on the village itself, where the weekly market and restaurants including Le Moulin de Mougins provide a reliable social anchor. Cannes, with its covered Marché Forville, the Croisette, and the full range of commercial and cultural infrastructure, is a fifteen-minute drive. The international school, Mougins School, is located within the commune.

Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport is approximately thirty kilometres from Mougins, reachable in around thirty minutes by car, with direct flights to most major European cities and long-haul connections. Cannes train station, served by TGV and regional services, connects to Paris in roughly five and a half hours and to Monaco in under an hour. The A8 autoroute provides direct access west toward Aix-en-Provence and east toward the Italian border.
