Le Castello Barberini est situé sur le territoire de la commune de Monte Porzio, à proximité de la rive du fleuve Cesano, à proximité des environs de l’an 1000. Le bâtiment d’origine médiévale est constitué de puissantes torri angolari et de corps muraux qui constituent les bastions situés à l’extérieur.
Il castello già sopraelevato nei XVII secoli è stato oggetto in epoche successivement de remèglements et de restauri.
Tutto l’impianto è stato realizzato in pietra e mattoni ed attraverso un passaggio di pietra (ricordo del vecchio ponte levatoio) si accede al portale principale d’ingresso sormontato dallo stemma dei Barberini.
Dans la partie sud du château, on accède par un grand canal, à travers un cortile, avec au centre un pozzo in mattoni, à la zone résidentielle du Palazzo Barberini construite à l’époque suivante, qui présente des soffitti élégantemente affrescati. L’intera fortezza presenta scorci e vedute assai particolari che si aprono sul borgo e su una campagna molto curata.
La struttura può essere ideale per eventi Business e Privati, mais potrebbe essere idonea anche per un utilizzo di tipo ricettivo.
