Surrounded by the painted hills of Mombaruzzo, an iconic village in the UNESCO heart of Alto Monferrato, just a few kilometers from the famous Nizza Monferrato, the farm has everything one could dream of for those wishing to engage in hospitality and organic winemaking. The property consists of two buildings: - The historic Monferrato farmhouse with an attached winemaking cellar and a portico for agricultural equipment. - A recently built eco-friendly agritourism building housing the restaurant, kitchen, tasting room, barrel cellar, and wine packaging warehouse, plus a large and scenic outdoor area overlooking the vineyards and the open view of the hills, perfect for enjoying in the warmer seasons. The spacious and tastefully furnished restaurant and tasting room offers about 40 indoor seats and an additional 40 outdoor seats with panoramic views. Certified organic since 1998, with a primarily biodynamic farming approach, the agritourism covers approximately 7.5 hectares of land at medium altitude with a gentle slope. About 4 hectares are planted with vineyards in a single block surrounding the two buildings. The remaining land is arable and wooded. The cultivated grape varieties include Nizza Docg, Barbera d’Asti Docg, Freisa, Pinot Noir, and Bronner, producing around 22,000 to 24,000 bottles annually, with the potential to increase production by 50% within four years. The cellar is equipped to vinify both white and red wines. In addition to 10 steel tanks, it features Tuscan terracotta amphorae for dedicated vinification, an area in which the farm is gaining international recognition. The farmhouse, with its well-preserved rustic appearance, is divided into two independent units with separate entrances but a shared courtyard and garden. The smaller part, spread over two levels, is fully renovated and currently inhabited by the owners. The larger part is renovated externally (including the roof) but remains unfinished inside, offering great versatility depending on needs: holiday home, bed and breakfast, main residence, or guest quarters.
